Compatibility & Renewal
  • Compatible WithPLATINUM S10, PLATINUM S10 CAN FD, PLATINUM S10 PRO, PLATINUM S12, PLATINUM S20, and PLATINUM HD. Compatibility Notice for PLATINUM S10 & PLATINUM S10 CAN FD: Heavy Duty diagnostics on these devices require the THINKDIAG HML adapter, which must be purchased separately. The HML adapter enables the tablet to communicate with Heavy Duty vehicle systems and unlock access to HD diagnostic software. If using a standalone VCI that has not been paired or assigned to the tablet, the TCODE software may display an error during software upgrades. This occurs because the newer VCI has not yet been connected, configured, or registered with the tablet system. Ensure the correct VCI is connected and assigned before performing software updates. PLATINUM HD supports both Passenger Vehicle and Heavy Duty diagnostic platforms. This subscription renews Heavy Duty software coverage only. Passenger vehicle software subscriptions are managed separately.
  • Not Compatible WithStandalone PLATINUM S10 or PLATINUM S10 CAN FD tablets without the THINKDIAG HML adapter. Heavy Duty diagnostics on these devices require the THINKDIAG HML adapter (sold separately). This subscription applies to Heavy Duty (HD) commercial vehicle software only and does not renew Passenger Vehicle software coverage.
  • Subscription Policy1-Year Heavy Duty software term begins upon activation and runs for 12 consecutive months from the date of T-Code redemption.
  • Renewal PolicyManual Renewal Required: Subscriptions do not auto-renew. Once expired, new Heavy Duty vehicle updates, software enhancements, and expanded coverage will not be available until renewed.
  • Transfer PolicyNon-Transferable License: Software is digitally bound to one compatible device serial number and THINKCAR account. Once activated, the license cannot be moved, reassigned, or transferred to another device.

Important for PLATINUM S10 & PLATINUM S10 CAN FD: Heavy Duty diagnostics on these devices require the THINKDIAG HML adapter (sold separately).
