If you have a Platinum S20, Platinum S12, Platinum S10 PRO, or Platinum S10 CAN FD, then you now have access to High-Speed System Scan! After updating your tablet and VCI firmware, you’ll be able to scan multiple systems simultaneously, increasing speed by 80%!
Follow the steps below to assure you get the latest improvements to Platinum series scanner:
- Make sure your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi.
- From the home screen, tap Upgrades and update all available software.
- Plug your VCI into your AC adapter (or into a vehicle with the ignition set to on).
- From the home screen, tap the gear icon to enter system settings.
- Tap Fix Firmware/System from the sidebar, followed by FIRMWARE FIX.
- Wait for the tablet and firmware to update.
That’s it! When you diagnose a vehicle and reach the system topology screen, you’ll find a button at the bottom of the screen named “High Speed System Scan.” After activating, you’ll never want to go back to singular system scans.
